Buy 3 Iams Canned Food = $4
Use $1.50 off 1 can (manufacture's coupon) from the trial packages at Target (look for the trial sizes with $3 in coupons inside).
Plus use $1 off three Iams canned dog food coupons (Publix Pet Coupon, found in the store).
This with give you $1.50 in OVERAGE before taxes.

Money Makers at Publix =)

I try to always buy at least one item that creates overage to cover my more expensive grocery items. Yesterday, I bought a few, so I actually got paid. Plus there is a Renuzit rebate that I can send in for to make $1.99 here.

Here is what I bought:
1. Mueller Angel Hair x 2 = 1.57
2. Renuzit Fresh Air = 1.99
3. Covergirl Nail File x 2 = 4.40
4. Wishbone Dressing x 2 = 2.65
5. Halls Cough Drops = .74

Total = approximately $14
Total after taxes and coupons = -1.43

Publix $32 worth of groceries for $4.83

Yesterday we went to Publix and bought tons of food and goodies. We bought 2 "expensive" items for which we had no coupons for, but still only paid $4.83.

Luckily, I had a $5 off $30 purchase Publix Coupon AND a $5 off $25 Competitor Coupon.

Order Total After Taxes and Coupons = 4.83
MY Savings at Publix = $43.40

I really do not like Walmart!

I have had so many bad experiences at Walmart. I don't know why I thought that today would be different. I wanted to use a few coupons to purchase trial/travel items. I had the Feb 2012 P &G coupon for cascade action packs, a Tide coupon that was mailed to me, and 2 Bic coupons. None of these coupons exclude any size, shape, or type. The cashier only let me use 2 of the bic coupons. UHHHH! Oh well, I got 2 packs of colorful bic pens for free.

Plus, I also noticed that Walmart's prices are not low. I saw frozen TGI Fridays meals for over a dollar more than they are at Publix, where they are not even on sale right now. I also saw over-the-counter medications that were much more expensive at Walmart than Publix (also not even on sale). Just a warning: Walmart is NOT the low price leader.

Publix Gas Card Deal

Hi! I went to Publix yesterday to pick up a few grocery items so that I could purchase a cheaper gas card. Here is what I bought...

So, I purchased all  my groceries for $7.45. Or, you can think of it as getting a $50 gas card for $47.45 (which is still a good deal to me).

FREE Iams dog food!

Wow! You can get the trial size of Iams dog food for free at Target with the Feb 2012 Iams P & G Coupon. I bought a few bags and added them to my dog's big bag of food. Plus, these small bags come with 2 coupons in each bag. So, when I need to buy a big bag again I will still have a $3 off coupon.

Tuesday CVS Trip

WOW! CVS has some great deals this week. I scored a 7 oz bottle of Skintimate Shave Gel for 3.79, used a $2 off 1 peelie (thanks to the nice lady who checked me out) and received $4 ECB for my purchase. That means I MADE $2.21! Yay!
